Activities Of Jamia Noorul Uloom, Gathaman, Palanpur
1. To teach children Quranic recitation with Tajweed and practice of the same.
2. To impart sound Arabic (Islamic) Education with the aim of grooming capable, well grounded Islamic Scholars (Ulema) of high calibre.
3. Dawat and Tableegh and Rectification (Islah) of society.
4. Endeavour to make every student a daee in addition to being an Aalim.
Department of Education at Jamia Noorul Uloom
I. Department of Hifz:
Quranic recitation is initiated teaching of Noorani Qaida and the training of the method of reading the Holy Quran is imparted followed by memorizing (Hifz) of the Holy Quran. During Hifz, expert and experienced Qaris teach Tajweed and the recitation with accent. After memorizing their lesson, the student listen to the recitation of Quran by Gujarat’s famous institute Falah Darain Tarkesar’s Famous Qari Sahab . Similarly we devote full attention to the goal of sound memorizing,
II. Department of Aalimyat :
This department offer learning in Farsi 1st & 2nd as well as in Arabic upto 6th.
III. Department of Oratory ( Khitabat ):
In this department known as ‘Anjuman Dawatul Haq’ the student of all departments, each in their own group under the guidance of their teachers, present speeches on a weekly basis to gain expertise in the art of public speaking in Urdu & Arabic language. Annual competition between the students of different departments are organized.
IV. Department of Dawat and Tableegh ( Propagation of Islamic Teaching ):
In order to faster the attitude and spirit of Dawat beginning from the student life and to inculcate the practice of their ilm and propagation of the same to others, this department sends students to rural areas in the vicinity of the institute in the form of Jamats.
